The day was slightly overcast and brisk (for California standards).  From the moment we drove up to Serendipity Gardens in Oak Glen, CA, we immediately felt the electricity in the air.  From the road, it's difficult to see what this place has in store, but as you make your way towards the heart of the property, the landscape opens to this soft valley nestled with ponds and beautifully landscaped gardens that lead to this handsome barn at the back of the property.  The ceremony area overlooks the entire Oak Glen valley with all the majesty it has to offer.  As exquisite and gorgeous this venue is, Paige and Blake were the true radiance that lit up everything around them.  We saw this at first individually when we were capturing their getting ready moments, but the celestial supernova ignited when Blake first set his eyes on his soon to be wife in her elegant wedding dress is one of our favorite moments of the year.  They just love each other so much and it showed in everything they did.

We invite you to experience their wedding film and see for yourself.

What an amazing day!  One of our photos of Jes+Anthony was featured today on Huffington Post Weddings for their piece on "23 Beautiful Tattooed Brides How Wouldn't Dream of Covering Their Ink."  And they picked our photo as their cover image!  Woohoo!!

Jes+Anthony are such a fun-loving and genuine couple that welcomes everyone with open arms.  Our day with them was just filled with non-stop laughing and celebration.  Oh, did we mention that they boldly had their wedding on Super Bowl Sunday?  And they served amazing sliders and tailgate worthy fare to take a nod to that day?  Well they did and it was amazing!

We loved that we were a part of this amazing moment for Rich + Lauren.  This surprised engagement start in Salt Lake City, Utah where Rich decided that he was going to propose to Lauren but by the ocean.  So using the guise of visiting family in sunny California, Rich takes Lauren out to a beautiful dinner at the Montage Laguna Beach.  He asked to be excused to the bathroom for the 3rd time so we can place the microphone on him.  For the most part, he's concerned she may suspect something is up, but he manages to convince her to take a romantic walk on the beach.  The rest of this story is best told in Rich's words in the video below.

There are a thousand words said in this picture, but what you don't read is the abundance of faith and love these two have.  What this image isn't telling us is that for more than half of their wedding day, the skies opened up and poured torrential rain which caused them to move their outdoor ceremony at Calamigos Ranch - (Oak Room) indoors.  Most of us would probably throw our hands up in defeat and curse the rain, but I remember the moment at the Malibu house where Jennifer was getting ready, where she walked up to peer out the window after getting her makeup done and said, "You can't worry about the things you can't control."  Then she looked up to the sky and with a soft smile walked away to continue her preparations because, today, she was going to marry the man of her dreams and nothing was going to get in the way of her perfect moment.

I stood there amazed at how poised and at peace she was with this whole situation.  She then proceeded to speak with her maid of honor to make the arrangements to move the ceremony indoors with the most calm demeanor.  You may not have read any of this in the image above, because the only thing that really matters is their love for each other and faith in the fact that everything will work out as it should.  What an honor it was to be witness to this amazing couple's union.  We love what we do for these moments.

What do you get when you have a hotel nestled in the the exclusive Bel-Air Estates neighborhood, a deep blue cloudless sky day and swans floating in a near by pond?  If you guessed the backdrop for Allison and Ryan's elegant wedding celebration, then you'll be right.

We arrive at the hotel grounds as I last remembered it to be.  There is a small unassuming sign against climbing marking the Hotel Bel Air and a modest valet parking lot surrounded by a lush wall of trees and foliage.  There is no clear indication of what is to come when you past the valet desk and cross the carpeted walkway bridge that opens to this amazing paradise.  Every time I come here, I always seem to be surprised by the beauty of the 12 acres of serene gardens and then I get that warm sweater feeling.  That moment of genuine comfort and peace.  No, I'm not being sponsored by the hotel to write this.  This is by far one of the most romantic places in Los Angeles and it was only getting better throughout the day as we captured the pure love that these two had for each other.  Needless to say, there was an amazing buzz in the air this day and we were soaking it up.

Allison and Ryan's wedding ceremony location was the first thing we saw as we made our way to their suite.  The amazing floral design and wedding coordination from the amazing team at White Lilac was out of this world gorgeous!
